Jamiesons Run are deeply rooted in the history of the Coonawarra, having established their position at the forefront of vineyard management and viniculture. An assemblage of Cabernet and Shiraz with Merlot, all fruit being sourced from good Coonawarra vineyards. There is an abundance of flavours here, berries, dark plums and cherry, enhanced by a fine oak treatment, followed by a tang of spice and cedar to the nose and palate. An easy drinking, good all-around red, that's superb with grilled meats or home style casserole.

Situated at the heart of Coonawarra, Jamiesons Run was named as a tribute to the region's history as cattlegrazing country. Favourable growing seasons are the norm, the harvested grapes exhibit elevated levels of flavour. Following crushing, the fruit is treated to a rotary fermentation for six to eight days, with occasional pumpovers. After pressing off skins, wines are racked post malolactic and apportioned to a combination of new and seasoned oak barrels. After eighteen months of maturation, each barrel is trialled and tasted for inclusion, the final assemblage exhibits fine structure with good balance, and offers the richness that's characteristic of a fine blend of noble grapes.

Velvety red appearance with crimson hues. An abundance of dark plum, cherry and blackberry fruit, with spice and cedary oak, all present on the nose. Further bouquets of bramble and complex liquorice, mint and warm earth, dark gummy cake and cedary oak bouquets. The intense aromatics are enhanced by an extended maturation under good oak. This smooth, medium-bodied wine is rich and silky, bursting with berry fruit flavours, there are plums and elements of mint-like liquors, violet expressions and eucalypt, chocolatey characters, wood and spice. The fine dusty tannins of this noble blend contribute to a tight but balanced structure, an elegant finish, fine mouthful and superb balance of fruit
