A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Shiraz sourced from 70 year old dry grown vines in the Barossa Valley.
Small parcels were fermented in open fermenters for 15 days, then basket pressed for maturation in French oak barriques. The wine shows sweet raspberry fruit, spice and confectionary characters; and we recommend it be enjoyed as a young wine to enjoy the fruit at its peak.
