3) Cape Barren ‘Native Goose’ GSM 2007: A Gold Medal winning favourite from our Adelaide Show Dozen, this classic Rhone blend is in great demand both nationally and internationally. The fruit for this wine is a blend of 50% Grenache 40% Shiraz 10% Mourvédre, and was sourced from their vineyards located in Willunga and Blewitt Springs.
4) Rolling Shiraz 2006: This wine is made by Philip Shaw , and comes from the Central Range of New South Wales. It is more European in style than your typical Australian Shiraz, and displays good weight and depth of flavour without excessive oak or tannins. (Gold, National Wine Show).
5) Fox Creek Shadows Run Shiraz Cabernet 2007: A full bodied mix of two thirds Shiraz and one third Cab Sauv from Mc Laren Vale, this is a great value wine. Fox Creek have a very good pedigree on the wine show circuit, and this one has now also been listed in the Wine state annual of Top 40 buys. Ideal to drink over the next couple of years.
6) YellowTail Reserve Shiraz 2006: Casella are a real family owned success story with a great international reputation This rich ,medium bodied Shiraz collected a Gold at National Wine Show and is a Blue Gold winner at Sydney International and in their Top 100 Wines. Drink to 2013 with roast beef.
