The concept of the wine show selections was the brainchild of Robert Mayne, who was born and educated in Sydney,and spent eighteen years as a journalist and wine writer for newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald,The Australian and The Times,London. He worked for five years for the Wine and Brandy Corporation as National Promotions Manager,and as Public Relations Manager for the Hardy Wine Corporation. He has also written four books on Australian wine.
Philip Buxton has also had many years experience in the hospitality industry, and has worked in both wholesale and retail wine sales since 1987. since 1987 sss sssssss.. ssss s He is also a partner in our affiliated independent retail outlets: Underdale Cellars and O' Sullivan Beach Liquor Store_ and is always on the look out for excellent quality wines at the best price for our wine club clients.
